Located in the picturesque Bartlett Park on the corner of Oak and North Avenues, the Log Cabin offers space for gatherings of up to 50 people or 40 in a sit down fashion. The Log Cabin provides a quaint atmosphere with air conditioning for that small family function or party. The facility is ADA accessible. There are 40 stackable plastic chairs, 2 six-foot tables and 7 card tables. A long counter with deep sink is also in the room.
All rentals require a rental fee and security deposit, unless otherwise noted. All facilities are handicap accessible. All rentals start from the time of arrival to the time of departure. You must be 21 years old to rent any of the Park District's facilities. For more information on any of the Bartlett Park District's facilities, contact park district registration office at (630) 540-4800.
Log Cabin Rates
Resident Rate: $70.00 for up to 4 hours. Each additional hour costs $17.00. A key deposit of $50.00 is also required at the time of the rental request.
Non-resident Rate: $95 for up to 4 hours. Each additional hour after the first four costs $23.00. An key deposit for $50.00 is also required at the time of the rental request.
**Payment can be made in the form of cash, check or credit card and is due when the rental form is submitted. If your payment is being made 10 or less working days (working days are Monday – Friday), your payment MUST be made in the form of cash or credit card.
Am I allowed to enter the Log Cabin early for set-up or stay late to clean up?
No. You may only be in the Log Cabin during the time stipulated on your rental confirmation. If you think that you will need extra time to set up or clean up, you must rent out the facility for this time.
When can I pick up the key for the cabin?
The key may be picked up within 5 days of your rental date. Keys may be obtained by going to the registration counter at Bartlett Community Center during the following hours: Monday-Friday – 8:30am-7pm and Saturday – 9am-1pm. The registration counter is closed on major holidays.
When do I need to return the key?
The key must be returned to the registration counter at Bartlett Community Center within 2 working days after your rental.
Is alcohol allowed in the Log Cabin?
No, alcohol is not allowed in the Log Cabin.
How many tables and chairs are in the Log Cabin?
There are 7 card tables, 2-6’ tables and 40 plastic stacking chairs in the Log Cabin.
Do we need to cleanup the cabin after our event?
Yes! The Log Cabin must be left clean. Garbage must be removed by the renter(s).
